Many people have tried or are currently trying to make money online today. Only a small percentage of these people have actually gone on to achieve enormous amounts of success. The reason for so many failures is that people simply do not know how to create a home based business or even where to start.
I am going to share with you the four things that the online Guru's do not want you to know because if you did, they wouldn't have a job anymore. The four areas of focus will be on finding a niche market, building income streams, affiliate programs and network marketing.
Finding a niche market is your number one priority when starting a home based business. This means that you will have to do a little research and find the products or services everyone is looking for. Contact people already successful with a home business and find out what they are selling and how they started. When I first started myself, I signed up to money making forums and contacted people already making a living working out of their homes. I was shocked to find that these people were very helpful and provided me with plenty of valuable resources.
Once you have found a niche market, go with it and stick with it. Its important not to give up if you fail the first time around, persistence is the key. Continue to diversify and research other programs that are a match for you. Do not rely on one program as a main
source of income, rather seek out other opportunities and create multiple sources of streaming income.
Network marketing is a fast growing business online today and an extremely effective way to build a business fast. Whatever product, program or service you decide to go with, become an expert on the subject matter and build a network with other people that share a common interest. When you are able to network your business with other business partners, it is possible to quadruple your income in a very short period of time.
Resell your program, product or service. There are thousands of affiliates making millions of dollars today simply by reselling their programs online. Affiliate marketing is a fast growing online business and can be done by virtually anyone. There are plenty of affiliate programs available online that will offer commissions anywhere from 5% to 75% on each sale.
Building a home business requires dedication and persistence. Following these four simple steps will help anyone achieve there goals and the financial freedom they have been looking for.

Work from home businesses are growing ever year. Everyone wants to be their own boss. Not to be told what to do, take holidays whenever, start and finish work whenever and the list multiplies for each individual. There are millions of people stuck in jobs simply for the money.
Good or bad, but this thing, money, makes the world go round. But people are realising slowly that you have to start somewhere. And the most common tried technique is to work at home or at least try it from there.
So what can you do from home?
There are millions of opportunities to choose from, but which one would you choose? There is an unlimited supply of business opportunities to allow you to make a start from home. People and entrepreneurs are looking for a break or the 'perfect' work at home opportunity. A break from the corporate life, to be their own boss or simply to be more financially independent!
Or an opportunity that would release them from the many debt problems, which seem to build up month after month! That, something that would pay bills and make ends meet without difficulty. Something your normal 9 - 5 job just isn't doing well at. So where can you start in order to work at home?
Check Your Post (So Called Junk Mail)
This is probably the easiest of the lot. You don't need to search for a business opportunity as they're searching for you. Companies have you on a mailing list and every so often they would send you a new business opportunity. Now should you be grateful to these companies for doing so? That's gratefulness all boils down to experience.
What kind of problems can you come across...
HYPE...
• You can make xxxx amount...
• You'll be financially free within 3 years...
• Never worry about money again...
• If I can do it, so can you...
• Check out the our satisfied customers
• Reply with 48 hours to avoid disappointment...
Now here are some catches...
• If they claim you can make xxxx amount. then why isn't there any form of proof to show this? Why are there no bank statements to prove this?
• If you're to be financially free within 3 years, is this how long it took them? Have they considered your background and experience? Or are they giving an approximate guideline to
achieve this?
• Never worry about money again... they're taking money from your pocket in order for you to receive the material, so effectively you still need to worry.
• If I can do it, so can you... everyone is unique with personal wants and needs. Each person has different qualities and abilities.
• If you reply within 48 hours... does that mean you're guaranteed to receive the material. Or is that a technique to make more money quicker within 48 hours.
• The opportunity has never been available before and you are the first. Now look over couple of pages, you see a testimonial page of 25 people who have used the system?! Just a second ago, you were told that you are one of the first.
Testimonials are one of the most powerful marketing mediums in the direct mail industry and it works. It shows people what others have thought of the system and what kind of results they achieved.
Repeat Business (Backend Sales)
Now you are placed on more mailing lists and companies sell their mailing lists to others to make extra profit. So don't be surprised if 2 months later some other company sends you another opportunity or maybe even the same.
However as soon as you buy one, ultimately you will be sent another one soon.
How?
You're an 'active' buyer on a list. You have money to spend. So you'll be sent more...
Have you also noticed this?
Someone is selling someone else's stuff to make money! Person A is selling person B's material. What you'll get is an introduction letter of person A then the actual sales letter from Person B.
But Person B is the one who's 'probably' made the money, however what's in it for Person A. They make money from what they expose to you. (i.e. they make money if you buy Person B's material)
Now Person A would probably have never checked or tested Person B's system but are in the process of selling it to you, so make no mistake there.
Now that you are armed with this information you can become more cautious to what you are about to order. Is it hype or is it for real...?

Starting a home-based business involves many tasks. Itquickly becomes very important to make as many of thesetasks as easy as possible. Speed and efficiency are topswhen it comes to getting work done. If you are a "hunt-and-peck" typist, one of the most important first goalsyou should have is to learn to type properly and quickly.Accomplishing this feat will give you great practice insetting and reaching goals for your business, and willbenefit you from that day on.Many tasks related to running an online (or offline)home-based business require typing skills. The lesstime you spend typing (answering email, writing adsand sales copy, developing info products, etc.),the more you'll have to spend on other very importantthings. Website tweaking, marketing, and promotioncome to mind.Look in the "bargain bin" at your favorite local store(or your favorite online seller) for last year'sversion of a typing course on CD-ROM. A good choice(if you can find it)is any version of "Mavis Beacon TeachesTyping". You might find an older, but just as useable, version 6,7, or 8, instead of the newest v.10 . You'llprobably pay around $10 (here in the US) for this"clearance" item. Set aside one hour a night, for two months (yeah, that'sright) to use the course. Do a few lessons each night, and do some of the practice games included (if you founda Mavis Beacon CD). Learn to do the exercises with correctposture and error-free. As the weeks go by, your speed willincrease, and your confidence will grow.In two months time, you will be typing "by touch",being able to look at your copy, while your fingers aretyping away. Your increased efficiency will allow youto blow through answering emails. Type or retype yourarticles and ads with blazing speed. Save countlesshours over the course of the year. Can't type? Learn today! You'll be glad you did.

Most people go to work each day, working in an office, store, or factory. For most of these people the options are limited when it comes to being able to work at home. There are some people, however, who have the luxury of being able to stay home while they earn their living. Some jobs can be accomplished at home in the same amount of time as anywhere else and with the same amount of quality. These types of jobs usually mean that the person is self-employed and working for themselves. If you are one of those people that can do your job from the comfort of your own home there are some things that you'll need to take into account. One of the most important things that you need to remember is that you should keep an accurate record of all your expenses since many of these costs will be a tax write off and you want as many of those write offs as you can find. You'll be able to claim the part of your home that you use as an office as an expense since you're using your home for business. Other items that you can claim on your taxesinclude (1) a portion of the phone charges that you use for business, (2) any equipment that you purchase, including a computer, your desk, and your fax machine, (3) paper and supplies, (4) a portion of the gas and electricity that you use to heat and power your home, (5) any travel expenses when you need use your car for your business, (6) any books or other materials, such as software, that you use to do your business, and (7) any other miscellaneous expenses that you incur for being able to work at home. Working at home works for some people but other people find that it takes a great deal of discipline and motivation to get the job done without being easily distracted. Before you decide to work at home make sure that you get all the information that you need to make an informed decision.About the author:

Have you ever noticed how hard it can be to get to the equity in your home?
Recently I had a client come to my office who had quite a bit of equity in their home. I’m not talking about $50,000 or even $200k, I’m talking about over $250k. I was asked to get 80% out of their home so that they could re-invest the monies elsewhere.
From an application stand point this person had no reason not to qualify. They had great credit scores, tons of assets and the loan-to-value on the home was nothing to be concerned about. The only problem we came across was that they were business owners and had taken a loss on their taxes the year before therefore we could not show any income documentation.
Lenders have ways of protecting their interest through limiting cash out and verifying their investments. Although my client had everything with exception to the income documentation we were limited to getting $250k out of their home. Locked into a good rate, we moved forward and closed the deal that limited us with getting the cash out.
We then went looking for a lender that would be
more willing to give us the cash out but knew it would be at a higher rate due to the potential for risk. The rate for the rest of the money turned out to be about 1% higher.
This got me thinking about utilizing my home as an investment:
1.How much does the bank pay you when you pay down your loan, yet they maintain their right to take your property until you have paid your entire debt?
2.What happens when you find yourself in a difficult situation and need to pay less than the monthly payment?
3.What happens when you need to get to the money you have diligently worked so hard to pay down? You have to qualify, yet you own the asset.
My recommendation is to maintain a way to get to your investment. I am not so much recommending that you take out the money as you at least set up a Line of Credit so that you can get to the money should you need it.
